PounceTERM is free software, provided "as is." By installing or using it you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

License to use

PounceApps grants you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use PounceTERM on macOS devices you control, for personal or business use. You may not sell it, or remove or alter its notices.

Your systems & sessions

PounceTERM runs on your Mac and connects to hosts you choose. You are responsible for your credentials, for the commands you (or agents you enable) run, and for the systems you access. AI execution is gated by the per-session AI-control toggle and is off by default; enabling it, bypassing permissions, or broadcasting input to a group is your decision and your responsibility. Test against machines you can afford to break.

Third-party AI providers

If you use Claude Code or configure an AI provider, your prompts and context are sent to the provider you configure (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, your organization's gateway, or a local model). Your use of those services is governed by their terms and privacy policies. PounceApps does not control or assume responsibility for third-party providers.

Acceptable use

Use PounceTERM lawfully. Do not use it to access systems or data you are not authorized to access, to violate any law or third-party rights, or to attempt to disrupt any service.

No warranty

PounceTERM is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. It is under active development and may contain errors.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PounceApps and Steven S. Sparks will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of PounceTERM — even if advised of the possibility. Because the software is free, total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it (which is nothing).
